CoreReader is a universal access query tool. It will connect to any server on any operating system on any computer. It was intentionally designed as a general purpose tool without favoring any name brand. After connecting, it will query any database. It has been tested against everything from mainframes to spreadsheets. CoreReader is a true point-&-click query tool which requires no SQL code. It was designed for simplicity and speed. After the connection is made, the operator points to database objects and operations and clicks a button to run a query. It automatically stores the connections. After a connection is stored, even connecting becomes a point-&-click operation. Someone with many servers and databases can build a library of frequently used connections. It is also highly configurable. Each connection can be configured for its own peculiarities. Configure a connection for everything from SQL deviations to internet operations. Point-&-click to change its output. It will send data to schema based XML, data browser, text, or web pages. (It analyzes the data and constructs schemata without human intervention.) CoreReader is designed to work with CoreModel. It allows quick access to data and metadata in all of an organization's servers and databases. It is a free download from http://CoreReader.com/. |
